BMW to display ConnectedDrive Store at CES

BMW to display ConnectedDrive Store at CES

BMW will demonstrate a range of innovations at the 2015 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas to be held from January 6-9. The carmaker claims that its latest innovations will enable seamless connectivity between the driver, vehicle and environment.

The ConnectedDrive Store, according to the Bavarian carmaker, will enable drivers to access a variety of features such as online entertainment, concierge services and real time traffic information from their car. The luxury carmaker is tight-lipped on the specifics, but stated that the ConnectedDrive Store will resemble 'smartphone stores', and display all the services that are available.

BMW will also use the CES as a platform to showcase an i3 prototype which has an advanced 360-degree collision avoidance system and a fully-automated Remote Valet Parking Assistant system which will enable the car to park itself in a parking garage.

The ConnectedDrive Store will be launched in the international market next year.
