The current Audi A4 has been with us for a good few years now and while it is not a bad looking vehicle as such, it could certainly do with a fresh update. The new 2016 Audi A4, slated for a global unveil at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor show has been spied inside and out showcasing a new design language and direction for the luxury German manufacturer.
These new pictures reveal the new Audi A4 will come with an aggressive design for the headlights that feature LED turning signals and daytime running lights. We can also take a closer look at the radiator grille that's going be larger and sharper than on the current model just like the ones seen on the new Audi TT or the new Audi R8. In fact, we think most Audi visual updates will be styled to follow the design language trend that has been set by the sports car duo from the German manufacturer.
On the interior front, the Audi A4 will get a completely restyled centre console with more prominent audio functions than ever before. The Audi A4 will also feature a slide up screen like the one found on the A3 and a new command module for the climate control system. The new Audi A4 will also feature updates on the gear knob and a set of new dials.
The new 2016 Audi A4 is set to ride on the second generation MLB platform and will be around 100 kg lighter than its predecessor. The engine range will include diesel, petrol and hybrid power plants with power ranging from 120PS to 330PS with some models like the e-Tron getting additional power from its electrical power packs.
