2015 Chevrolet Captiva launched at Rs 23.15 lakh

General Motors has launched the 2015 Chevrolet Captiva in India. The 2015 Chevrolet Captiva has been priced at Rs 25.13 lakh for the manual transmission and Rs 27.36 lakh for the automatic transmission variant (both prices ex-showroom Delhi). The new Chevrolet Captiva gets equipped with 'Cluster Ionizer' which according to the manufacturer generates ions to purify and deodorize cabin interiors. This new feature will be standard on both the automatic as well as the manual variant. The instrument cluster on the 2015 Chevrolet Captiva has been restyled for improved visibility. On the design front nothing has been changed though.


Powering the 2015 Chevrolet Captiva is a 202-litre motor churning out 187PS at 3,800rpm and 400Nm of torque at 4,000rpm. The SUV continues to offer 5 + 2 Flexi Seating arrangement which with the seats folded hikes the cargo volume to 1,565 litres. The interiors have been finished in jet-black on the new SUV. Talking about features, the 2015 Chevrolet Captiva gets equipped with third-row heating, ventilation and air-conditioning system, electric parking brake, rain-sensing wipers and sunroof. The new SUV sports 2-DIN CD/MP3 player with six speakers, power mirrors, an eight-way power adjustable driver seat and an electronic climate control system as standard offerings. On the safety front, the 2015 Chevrolet Captiva gets loaded with six airbags, four-channel ABS with brake assist-equipped discs, descent control system and traction control system. Chevrolet is all set to soon launch the Trailblazer SUV in the Indian four-wheeler market by end of 2015.
