Even though Forza Horizon 2 was released late in September of last year, support for it just doesn’t seem to quit. Case in point: the new Fast & Furious standalone expansion. Scheduled for launch on March 27th, this sweet little DLC is free to download until April 10th, at which point a $10 outlay will be slapped on. What’s more, you don’t even need to own FH2 to play it.
In support of the new expansion, the game’s developer, Turn 10 Studios, has released this two-minute video featuring in-game footage, clips from the upcoming Furious 7 movie, and a few words from Picture Car Coordinator Dennis McCarthy. McCarthy has been building and modifying the cars you see in the F&F franchise for the last 10 years, and it’s interesting to hear his philosophy when it comes to creating the marvelous machines you see in the films.
Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast & Furious will be available on both the Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Features include missions, challenges, and voiceover work by Chris “Ludacris” Bridges. Some of the special-edition, F&F cars you can expect to drive include the 1970 Dodge Charger R/T, 2012 Nissan GT-R, 1998 Toyota Supra, 2014 Maserati Ghibli S, 1970 Plymouth Road Runner, 2015 Dodge Charger R/T, 1970 Plymouth Cuda and a 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited.
Which one will you drive first? Vin’s Charger, right? Gotta see if it’ll pull wheelies in the game, right? Oh, yeah.
