The 2016 Camaro Set for a May 16th Reveal

The next-gen Camaro will arrive on May 16th.

Thus far, the 2015 Ford Mustang has been selling pretty well, but it has had no real competition to speak of, as the Camaro is still running on a lightly refreshed body and the Challenger has remained nearly the same since Dodge relaunched it in 2008. That’s all about to change for the 2016 model year, as the next-generation Chevy Camaro will roll in with a brand-new look to give the Mustang the competition it needs. And I just received word that the 2016 Camaro’s launch date is just around the corner.

I know I have been counting the days until Chevrolet releases its new muscle car, and the counting is soon to stop as it is set to debut on May 16, 2015. What’s more, like the Mustang, Chevrolet chose to release the Camaro outside of the auto show circuit. Instead, it will be held on Belle Island with roughly 1,000 people in attendance.

What’s more Chevy is allowing fans to come to the event for free, but space is very limited. If you’d like to be in attendance for the unveiling of the 2016 Chevy Camaro, you can go to www.thecamarosix.com to register. At that link, there is also a pretty bad-ass recording of the 2016 Camaro’s exhaust note to keep you satisfied until the car is fully unveiled.
