Nissan has released a new special edition for the X-Trail crossover. It’s designed to attract those wanting a unique styling with more stylish trimmings. Aptly enough, Nissan is calling it the X-Trail Style Edition. How sophisticated.
The Style Edition is said to feature many of the X-Trail’s most desirable accessories, making it a one-box check-off for those wanting a loaded crossover. The Style Edition builds off the X-Trail’s range-topping trim, the Tekna grade. This already bumps the Nissan into the upper registers of amenities and features.
The new edition doesn’t make changes to the X-Trail’s drivetrain, so both the 1.6-liter dCi 130 diesel engine and the 1.6-liter DIG-T 163 gasoline engines are available. Both engines now come with a start/stop system for better fuel economy and less emissions. Customers can also choose between FWD and 4WD, along with a manual transmission or Nissan’s Xtronic CVT.
Beyond the “stylish” updates, the X-Trail Style Edition offers the same versatility as before. It can be had in either five- or seven-passenger configurations, offers Nissan’s Luggage Board System that allows customers to configure the cargo area in 18 different ways, and the rear tailgate has a one-touch automatic opening feature.
Nissan says the X-Trail Style Edition is already available for the starting price of £29,405, or roughly $42,363 U.S. dollars at current exchange rates.
