When we got a new batch of spy shots of the A5 just weeks before the car’s official debut, we were at a bit of a loss. After closer inspection, though, we realized that these spy shots may very well be of the next generation RS5. Now that the A5 and S5 have made their debut, the next shots of the RS5 test mule should shed a significant amount of camo. By that point, we should be looking at a real body with fewer deceptions. Considering there wasn’t an RS5 for the 2016 model year, we’re really looking forward to seeing the new RS5 in the metal.
The best thing about seeing the A5 in the metal is that we now have a pretty good idea of what to expect from the RS5. We’ve also taken the most recent spy shots and what we know about the A5 and tapped into our resident artist to render up what the RS5 convertible might look like. With that being the case, we can say a lot about the upcoming RS5 coupe, so check out our full review of it in the details below.
Update 06/09/2016: Now that Audi dropped the new A5 coupe, we decided to create a rendering for the upcoming RS5. Even more, we decided to go wild and we imagined the convertible version. Let us know in the comments section below what do you think about it.
