Bentley has already promised that the 2016 Bentayga will be the fastest, most powerful and most exclusive SUV on the market, and now it is adding one more claim to that list. Along with a new video revealing the first look inside the 2016 Bentley Bentayga, Bentley says that the SUV will be the “most advanced Bentley ever,” and while many details about the Bentayga remain unknown, this sneak peek gives an idea of just some of the cabin tech that will be offered.
Perhaps the coolest of this tech is the touch-sensitive control dial mounted centrally in the console. The outer ring allows the driver to switch between the various drive modes, and while several have been blurred out for this video, there will be at least four off-road modes and a sport mode. In the middle of the dial is the start-stop button, which also looks to be controlled by touch rather than an actual button.
While this area definitely seems to be the focal point of Bentley’s innovations, the Bentayga will have other high-tech goodies, including a large instrument cluster display with a night vision mode and what appears to be a massive head-up display. Bentley has not yet said when the Bentayga will be getting its big debut, but this fall’s Frankfurt Motor Show is a good bet at this point.
