Say what you will about the quality of all these Transformers movies, but one thing the franchise has not short-changed us on are the quality of cars that always appear in them. The fifth movie, called The Last Knight, is no different because we’ve already seen a handful of exotics on set, including the super exclusive Lamborghini Centenario. It’s a car so limited that only 20 units will be made by the Italian automaker. But yes, the Centenario will be in Transformers 5 and it’s going to take the form of Autobot Hot Rod in the movie.
Filming for the movie has moved to the busy streets of London and that’s where we see the Centenario out and about with other exotic cars, including an Aston Martin DB11, a custom Chevrolet Camaro, and a McLaren 570S that, believe it or not, has a camera rig attached to its rear. I don’t know exactly why Michael Bay decided to turn the 570S into the world’s fastest and most expensive camera dolly, but there’s really no point wondering what goes on in the head of that man. What’s important is that we’re getting plenty of exotics for Transformers 5. Here’s to hoping that there are more surprises in store for us as production for the movie continues. Any chance we see a Bugatti Chiron or a Koenigsegg One:1?
Oh, lest some people don’t notice, pay attention to the one-minute mark of the video and you’ll notice a well-dressed man who happens to be none other than Ben Collins himself! Is the former Stig turning into a Decepticon now?
