Williams and Lotus reveal first images of 2015 car

Williams F1 Team 2015 Car FW37

Both Lotus and Williams who have retained their driver line-up of Romain Grosjean andndash; Pastor Maldonado and Valtteri Bottas and Felipe Massa have released the first images of their 2015 car.

The Williams FW37 is essentially an evolution of last year's car which brought them nine podium places and third place in the constructors' title. Last year, the teams had to go through a completely new car which they got their hands on in the first pre-season test, but this time round the regulations haven't changed much allowing the Williams team to focus on developing their car further.

According to Technical Officer Pat Symmonds, the changes on the front bulkhead and nose geometry had quite an impact on the aero. For the 2015 season the team has worked on these issues to build a more competitive car.

Meanwhile the Lotus F1 Team also revealed images of its new Mercedes powered E23 Hybrid. Like the Williams team, Lotus too has worked on the Aero and simulation departments to improve on the overall performance of the car. Along with that, the Lotus Team has also focused its energies in the packaging and cooling department and according to them the E23 is going to be a far better performer than its predecessor. Moreover reliability was also another issue faced by Grosjean and Maldonado in 2014, which too the Enstone-based team seems to have addressed.

Both the teamswill make the public debut of its car at the first pre-season test from February 1-4 at Jerez.
