Indian Motorcycles has partnered with the United Service Organizations (USO) to help provide support to the country’s men and women of the military and their respective families.
The partnership between the American motorcycle company and the non-profit organization is the latest in a long line of partnerships that Indian Motorcycles has had with the US military, dating back to as early as World War I and, subsequently, World War II. It’s only fitting that Indian’s back in league with the military and it’s a beautiful thing.
As part of its partnership with the USO, Indian Motorcycles will be donating $100,000 to the USO in connection with its newly released Mark Wahlberg Collection. The shirts, which retail for $34.99, are a collaboration between the motorcycle company and the famed Hollywood celebrity who counts himself as one of the biggest celebrity fans of the American brand.
In addition, Indian Motorcycle Riders’ Group (IMRG) will count the USO as its official non-profit partner, giving the two sides the platform to engage in various community activities, including rides and joint charitable initiatives.
Finally, Indian Motorcycles will also be offering a $1,000 “Honoring Heroes” bonus on all Indian motorcycles for active or retired military, as well as police officers and fire fighters throughout the US. While the bonus has technically been in place for the past two years, the company announced that the US military can still take advantage of it for at least the remainder of 2015.
