Honda has officially unveiled the production version of its new Fuel Cell Vehicle that will be launched at the upcoming Tokyo Motor show at the end of October. The new car, temporarily called FCV features an extremely aerodynamic design and showcases future design elements for Honda vehicles of the future.
That said, we do not like the way it is styled, especially around the rear fender. Although Honda has not revealed much information about the car, the Honda FCV features a distinctive front look with a honeycomb inset in the grille and LED headlamps. The new FCV also gets a ventilated front fender and large wheels along with a contrasting black roof.
Although we do not particularly like the exterior, the interior on the other hand is quite funky and uses a whole new language. The interior also features upscale materials that include leather seats, wooden inserts and metal accent pieces. The new Honda FCV also features an attractive three spoke steering wheel and a floating infotainment system. According to Honda, the FCV will comfortably seat five people.
Honda has not released any technical specifications yet, but if rumors are to be believed, the FCV will have a range in excess of 700kms and as with most high output electric motors, will have quite an exciting driving experience.
