Not much is known about the new Polo GTi, but word has it Volkswagen wants to move the hatchback up a bit more on the premium ladder in an effort to crush all competition in this market. The Polo GTi will to benefit from this move and get new interior features and technology that might not be available in other vehicles of this size. Some reports also claim that the hatchback could also get a larger engine, with the 2.0-liter four-banger in the Golf being nominated as the main candidate.
