This viral video from Audi’s UK arm will have you pondering where it is that their little cars really come from.
But seriously, no it won’t.
The two-minute spot takes viewers to a terrifyingly dark corner of some unknown Audi complex, where a V10-powered R8 revs and vibrates on a high-tech platform, attended by robot arms. Soon the rear fascia is pulled away from the car, and the back of the R8 expands like a snake unhinging its jaw, and lubricating fluids are sprayed everywhere, and, well…this is a much more intimate look at the process of producing the 367-horsepower RS3 sport-compact than you might have been expecting.
