Known to routinely attract a number of celebrities and racing drivers, the Gumball 3000 rally is getting ready to welcome a new personality. This time around it’s not an actor or a musician, but reigning Formula One World Champion Lewis Hamilton. Hamilton joins a long list of celebrities that have taken part in the Gumball 3000, including David Hasselhoff, Deadmau5 and Tony Hawk, just to name a few.
The 2015 Gumball 3000 will once again follow a transatlantic route, although this time it will start in Europe and end in the United States. The rally will commence in Stockholm on May 23rd and pass through Oslo, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, San Francisco and Los Angeles, before coming to a glorious finishin Las Vegas a week later.
Considering the dates, Hamilton will have to squeeze his trip to the U.S. between the Monaco Grand Prix in Monte Carlo (May 24th) and the Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal (June 7th).
