Ford India has launched a Service Cost Calculator on its website allowing customers to compute periodic maintenance service cost (PMS), even before stepping into a dealership. The service price promise will be applicable across the entire Ford product range and the calculated quote will remain valid for the same month, according to a press release.
The Service Cost Calculator will allow customers to carry a printout of the calculated web quote to any Ford dealership. In the release, Ford has termed this move to ensure complete trust and transparency in the service experience of its customers.
Ford Service Price Promise will offer periodic maintenance prices for all Ford models including the recently launched compact sedan Figo Aspire, the new Ford Figo hatchback and the Ford EcoSport. The calculated quote will be valid for the same month, subject to change in taxes, added the release.
Vice president, Ford customer service operations N Prabhu, said,"With Ford's Service Price Promise, we are ensuring trust and surety than surprise for our customers when they walk into any Ford dealership for a standard service," and added, "This step not only ensures transparency in our service experience but also demonstrates a commitment to our customers."
The automaker plans to utilise customer touch-points like information boards at dealerships, service reminder eDMs, and the Ford mobile app, along with the dealership websites to inform customers of the initiatives.
This service will be an addition to Ford's existing lineup of customer support schemes like Sub Assembly Levels for Repairs, Sub Assembly Levels for Repairs, Localization andamp; Competitive Parts Pricing, Ford's Happy Pockets Service etc.
