Speaking on the special campaign started by Honda, Katsushi Inoue, President and CEO, Honda Cars India Ltd. said, "We understand the gravity of the situation in Chennai where a large number of our cars have been completely or partially submerged in water. We are making all the efforts to support our customers to have their cars repaired as swiftly as possible."

The carmaker has shipped the required spare parts to its Chennai warehouse to minimise the turnaround time to attend to the flood affected vehicles. The dealerships have reinforced its workshops with additional technical man power from Honda and nearby dealerships. Area managers and Service Quality teams have been dispatched to speed up and oversee the activities. Honda is also getting in touch with all insurance partners to further expedite the claim procedures and has instructed its road-side assistance alliances to transport flood affected Honda cars to the facility of priority.
