Toyota Kirloskar Motor sells 11,388 units in November 2015

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) is a subsidiary of the Japanese giant Toyota Motor Corporation. TKM for the month of November sold 11,388 units. Toyota Kirloskar Motor achieved in the domestic market sale of 10,278 units and exported 1,110 units. The manufacturer had sold 12,175 units in November 2014 for the domestic market and 1,959 units of Etios series were exported in the same period. The figures have provided a cumulative growth of 7 per cent by selling 129,373 units from January to November 2015 as related to 121,038 units sold in the equivalent period last year.

The new Etios and New Liva have been able to achieve a consistent growth with overwhelming reports throughout the market. A cumulative growth of 9 per cent has been achieved for the Etios series from the period of January to November 2015 as compared to the corresponding period last year.

Commenting on the sales, N Raja, Director and Senior Vice - President, Sales and Marketing said "As we move towards the end of the year, we witnessed a growth of 7 per cent in our sales from January to November 2015 when compared to the same period last year. The Etios series has also clocked a cumulative growth of 9 per cent from January to November 2015 when compared to the same period last year. We would like to extend our gratitude to our loyal customers for their overwhelming response towards the new Liva introduced during the festive season; likewise the sale of Camry continues to grow with over 1000 units of the model already sold this year. The success of each of these products has attributed to our cumulative growth this month".

The sales of the New Camry also shows decent growth as the cumulative sale for luxury sedan has already crossed 1000 units from January to November 2015. Importantly, the new Camry has been able to accomplish good growth of 65 per cent increase in sales figures for November when compared to the corresponding period last year. The Camry Hybrid constitutes the major share of 90 per cent in the sales figure.

With the upcoming 2016 Delhi Auto Expo, Toyota Kirloskar Motor aims to boost sales as they will be showcasing the much awaited new Innova and new Fortuner at the event.
