Following a recent attack on his car while shooting in Gujarat, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is once again in the news for his set of wheels. However, this time it is in positive light as he was spotted driving a Mahindra Classic jeep in Mumbai for his upcoming movie 'Raees,' on Saturday. Lead actress Mahira Khan, who will make her Bollywood debut in the movie, was also seen in the car along the 'Dilwale' actor with an infant in her arms.
Clad in a Pathani suit, Shah Rukh gave the paparazzi a glimpse of his much-awaited movie where he plays a Gujarati don. The latest version of the car is powered by a CDR engine that displaces at 2498 cc. The maximum power offered by the vehicle is 105 PS that is then transmitted by a 5-speed manual gearbox.
The set of pictures from the shoot that are doing rounds on social media also show Shah Rukh on a maroon-coloured Royal Enfield with 'Raanjhanaa' actor Mohammad Zeeshan Ayyub riding pillion.
Set in 1980s, the movie has SRK in the role of a smuggler who runs an underground alcohol racket. 'Raees' also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who plays the role of a tough cop. The film is slated to release on Eid this year and we expect to see SRK and his co-stars driving more cars for it, in the near future.
